i was commissioned by the university of geneva political science and international relations students' magazine editors to create the layouts for their 19th, 20th and 21st editions.

working on these meant:

- juggling with large amounts of content, both textual and visual;

- managing the content to fill a set number of pages;

- following the magazine's aesthetic of only using black and white, with the occasional dash of red on the covers.

despite these constraints, i was given a lot of freedom to experiment with the layout, which made these challenges particularly enjoyable.

the covers of issues #19 and #21 both feature hand-lettered titles that i conceived.

they visually convey the general themes that run through their respective editions.
